knitting

edbook asked what happened at airport security with my knitting needles... Alas, there I was with the needles, a self address stamped envelope, a printout of the Transportation Authority's webpage saying knitting needles were allowed and a printout from the US Air webpage saying the same thing and so, of course, what happened was ... nothing.

I put my bag with the needles inside on the conveyor belt, I went through the doorway-of-security and picked up my bag on the other side. And that was it. Climax? A bit underwhelming.

But, I think I've started my knitting blog. I finished off an afghan this afternoon and started another. The details are at Knitting Blog. I would like to think I'll add to it daily, but I think I won't commit.

I do need to make a link to the rest of my website and fix the Kingdome Cam link and add a new photo of Mom and create a 'who's who and what's what' page for LJ... So many things to do, why am I wasting time knitting? Because I can.
