I am so sick of this estate stuff.  I am very grateful it is not more complicated. I appreciate so much all the care and attention my parents paid to the detail so I wouldn't have to and I appreciate the cash, but lordloveaduck, I'm so tired of dealing with all of the idiotic details. 

And I'm weary of the stupid emails and letters from the person handling the damn thing. I know I should appreciate the care she gives details but instead, I want to take some of the money and buy a hit man to take her out.   Just close out the fucker and let's end it.

I hear you! my favorite project manager used it the other day in an email and I had the same reaction!

You've got my sympathies. I'm in the seemingly neverending process of settling my mother's estate, and all I can say is oh lordy what a pain in the ass it is.

It's a marketing ploy. Mom died and I'm so fed up with this crap it makes me want to kill others... sing it with me... chain, chain, chain...

:) I am still amazed that I didn't go out and buy a firearm the day I got the letter saying, "Oh, so sorry, the life insurance has already been paid out." A LARGE clerical error, but not what you need early on in the process.

It's no wonder you are getting a raise... That kind of keen sense of the obvious should be rewarded!
