The bits from the day...
Jan. 20th, 2007 05:35 pmI bought a clear lucite table today - since it's transparent, it's hard to see but here's a pic...

It's 38" wide, 15.25 deep and 29" high.. It will be here on February 5. My idea is to use it for a table to eat meals on but I have a Plan B if that doesn't work.
In the snail mail today I got the most interesting junk mail. I don't like most of the junk mail I get but this one is pretty and nicely done and advertises a pizza delivery place with pictures. I've never heard of the place but they have coupons and if the pizza and salads are half the quality of the brochure, it's a wonderful place. Their website is underwhelming but I'm going to pretend all I saw was the brochure. www.madpizza.com I am sure going to give them a try.
Did the library. Did the grocery. Even came home and went through two huge drawers of bags (yeah, I know, it's an issue).. I organized them and did manage to set aside a large bagful for charity.
Work has dribbled in on and off. I have two more bits I think I'll do before dinner.

Hey, I got that same flyer in the mail! In fact, we used one of the coupons to order a large pizza from them just last night.
There are always lots of opinions about any given pizza place (I am particularly fond of Pudge Brothers; a friend says they are too greasy), but for what it's worth, I like Mad Pizza a lot. I've eaten at the one in Fremont a few times in the past, and last night was the first time I ever actually ordered from them for delivery. I liked the pizza a lot.
(And clearly this means that mailing out those flyers works!)
