Productive me
Jan. 21st, 2007 12:19 pmThe plumber (from his photo - a kindly bear) is coming tomorrow morning about the slow draining tub. So for him, the bathroom sparkles now. And, can I just say how brilliant my idea about cupcake papers as Sonicare coasters has turned out?! No more disgusting sludge at the base. The heat from the charger molds the little paper into the perfect fit. I change it about every two weeks and feel brilliant every time I see it.
The bags I culled from the collection as well as a few other items from around the house are now in the car for the next time I drive by GoodWill. The garbage and recycling is in the dumpsters. No bugs in my work queue.
Nice. Very nice.
I got an email from someone today chastising me for not announcing here that two of the webcams are back up. I positioned the best one to catch the Cat Action On The End of The Chaise. So at least now there's something to watch for most of the daylight time. My first webcam way back when was just to see if I could get one up and running. Then, after Daddy died and Mom turned into a web mavin, she loved keeping an eye on me, my computing, what I was watching on TV. She delighted in sending me emails pointing out that I needed to dust the desk or get my hair cut.
When I had to reinstall the operating system on the desktop a few months back, the webcams never made it back on. Then I got a free one from Microsoft and so I added it. And then someone sent me a newer Logitech model and I added it. I think two is plenty so I'm done so voyeur away...
I'm going to be on the chaise very shortly with CBS Sunday Morning - my Sunday Do All Your Chores And Then You Can Watch - treat.
