I'm trying to figure out how you can be a grateful, chipper person and still get annoyed.  I'm sure it must be done.  Dolly Parton must have one or two things in her 60 years that have pissed her off.  Wonder what she did.  WWDD?

My morning started off early with my anti-virus software once more wanting a fucking reboot.  Jesus.  I'm sick of this.  I did the diagnostics which sent a log off.  I have to say that Grisoft may well have the fastest response trigger in the west (except I think they are east - very east).  I deleted the files they told me two and now we'll wait another couple of days until it happens again.  GRRRR

Then I went to meet my friend, Elizabeth, for coffee.  I wasn't particularly up for it and I hate hate hate the place where she always wants to meet.  The Top Pot is a coffee shop that everyone in town (and out - I saw a review the other day from some travel thing) is the greatest thing since sliced bread.  I think the coffee is bitter, the donuts are dried out and tasteless, the lighting sucks and the music is too loud. Oh and I can never find the freakin' place.

And I when I got home I wasn't all that happy I had gone. I was really more annoyed at being an hour and a half behind.

But, now I've gotten some stuff done and I'm trying to fix my attitude.  I need to get back to work now.  I'll work on the attitude later.

If it helps at all, look up in the sky tonight after dark.

Always makes me and lots of others aggravated at a varity of things during a full Moon.

I picked up Dolly's autobiography (ghost-written by someone who made it sound exactly like Dolly telling the story) for ten cents at Hollywood Goodwill. It is kind of sad in the beginning, because they literally lived in the dirt, but she always had ambition and I know that's why she made it to the top.

You MUST read it. I think it was published in the late 80's, but the library might have a copy, or maybe half.com. It's a great read, she's a real hoot, and is one of the people I admire most in the world. Going from dirt to the most successful female country artist AND one of the most respected artists out there...just amazing. And you just gotta read about her driving her brand new Cadillac into a brick wall and what she did afterward.

Dolly is great. She takes care of her whole family, extended out to godknnowshowfar. Nobody forced her choice, that's just the kind of person she is.

Read the book. You'll love it.
