susandennisMy day is full and it's only 9:30. I have now done this job for nearly 15 months and I still believe that weekends should be and feel really no different than week days. I'm in the same place. I wear the same clothes. I don't see the same people. Yeah, the chances of having a conference call is slim but I have whole weekdays without conference calls. And yeah, the phone is likely not even going to ring where it might during the week.
But, happily, Saturdays and Sundays still hold the cache that weekends always have. I have probably 8 hours of work to do today. I could wait until Monday but I love that I can knock it all out this weekend and start with a clean slate on Monday.
Sometimes I am just knocked out by how very lucky I am to have found this gig.
Before I even start work, however, I am going out to do those errands I was going to do yesterday. I'm going to do them first.
Here I go. I'm going to peel into McDonald's first - I need a sausage biscuit.
