My little website launched this morning at 6 a.m. with nary a hitch.  My client is happy.  Then off to the Man Doc who was just as cool as every.  My blood pressure is perfect, he says. 

I showed him my scalp thing and he recognized it immediately.  I was getting ready to show him some new reddish spots on my face when he said 'do you have anything kind of like this on your face - around the mouth and at the hairline?'  Exactly, of course, where mine is.  He called it something with a bascillion syllables that sounded fairly fatal and then said 'well, really, it's dandruff' and caused by a fungus and totally treatable.  And... not fatal at all.  He gave me a prescription for cream for my face, cream for my scalp and a special shampoo and told me it would probably take 6 weeks to get rid of. 

And he does not want to see me until Summer for a quickie and then Fall for a physical.  My idea for finding a doctor last summer after 20 years of avoiding them, was to have one on tap if I needed one.  Someone I knew wouldn't freak out at my lifestyle and choices.  My Man Doc is the embodiment of that idea.  He's just great. 

The Arlene plan for using my old insurance worked fine and dandy.  They took my co-pay and were happy to see me.  Guess I'l do the same at the pharmacy.  Later.  I have a book to pick up at the library.  I'll make a run after I get caught up on work stuff.

Nothing like a summer quickie ;)

I told him I would only come in during if he had air conditioning. He promsed so I said ok to his quickie. (When I made the appointment, the appointment girl asked me why he wanted to see me and I told her that I was pretty sure he had the hots for me.)
