Yesterday, as all my clients left for a week or at least a long weekend, they dumped all their 'has to be done by Monday' crap in my lap. Leaving stuff to the last minute is always such a good idea.  It leaves so much time for me to do a good job, for you to check and ensure it's what you want and then have it ready for your deadline.

Ha on them.  The publishing system went down last night and likely won't be back this weekend.

At least I did get my ducks organized yesterday afternoon.  I got everything lined up to do and prioritized and made sure that I had what I needed.  So if/when the system comes back up, at least I won't have a massive scramble to get started.

So... my day of work is no more.  Hmmmm  Plan B might include a stroll over to the International District so see New Years festivities.  Maybe.

The mail has come and gone.  Ameriprise sent this lovely report intended to help in tax return preparation. Problem is that I took my stuff to the CPA 2 weeks ago.  Crap.  I've probably already paid the CPA to organize what Amerprise has now provided.

And I did not get any of the game rentals.  Tuesday, I guess.  One of the game rental companies (Gamefly) sent me a notice (ala Netflix) that the games had shipped.  The other one (gottaplay), I didn't hear from in two days so I sent an email.  I got a response saying their inventory was down and they would send when they could.  Not too impressive.

Looks like more Sudoku for me!

Having thrown in the towel and purchased a Wii a couple of weeks back, I've been toying with the idea of trying out GameFly or GottaPlay (although I doubt I would play that much to support a membership for very long). Love Neflix, though!

That's exactly what I was thinking...it's a good chance to try different ones out before buying. You can rent them for around $8.00 for a week at the local Blockbuster as well, but that's only for one game.

If I give it a go, it'll definitely be GameFly...thanks for the tip!
