I'm saved from myself
Feb. 19th, 2007 01:54 pmSo the woman doing my tax return in my CPA's office called me this morning and said she didn't have some form but if the account was an IRA she didn't need it and her tone just pissed me off so I told her it was an IRA. I had not clue. After I hung up, I looked it up and it isn't. I didn't call her back. I knew I should and I didn't.
Just now the head guy - who is really just the nicest guy ever - called me to say that he thought I may have misunderstood her (she had a really thick accent) and asked me virtually the same thing. I came clean. He's so nice, I had to. I asked him what the damage was looking like and he said he doesn't know yet but it looks like I may have over paid! I'm sure he's not right and that I will owe something but it's nice to know that it might not be a small fortune.
I have a lull in the work action so I think I'll do a system restore and then see what I can do about this stupid anti virus thing.
Ooops ... the monitor just arrived. Nice. Ohhhh it swivels to vertical very easily. That might be handy. It looks nice next to this one. I think it's going to work out fine.
