One week from today

I just focused on the fact that the first Spring Training game - which will be on radio here - is one week from today at noon.  Nice.  Very nice.  I'm ready.

New PC news "I've played games, movies, music and everything else on it and it seems to be working just fine."  No wonder I haven't gotten it yet!   Sounds like he's doing just what you offered to do, photoholic62! 

He did add:   "The plan is to let it run one more night and make sure everything is going right then send it on its way." 

He charges $35 for delivery and set up but, turns out, that's only in his sales area!  How very parochial of him.  He allows as how he'll just ship mine to me.

So far my new PC consists of a keyboard, mouse, case, PSU and o/s. You are way ahead of me.

We're going to miss most of the endless speculation, noise, and other blather that continues nonstop throughout Spring Training this year, including the continutation of the Annual Drama when Manny finally shows up. (Something tells me the New Zealand press isn't going to give this a whole lot fo play.)

Ohmygosh, that's right!!! You're going to be kutting it with the kiwis while we're back here dealing with Cub envy. Wow. I wish I could drop by and help you clean out the fridge before you go.

Ok, ok I confess... Your brother doesn't have it. He let ME pick it up for testing. He *thinks* I'm going to bring it back in time to ship it ... but we'll see...
