I know we're still a long way from New Vista PC in my Living Room but still...  No actual counting of eggs until I see the whites of their eyes.  

So far, work work looks like it could be manageable today if the ship actually comes in.

Ok that's it for the metaphors.  I'm not clever enoough to string them up either properly or cleverly so I'll quit torturing.

The local news - tv and radio are all about the snow and ice on the roads and the school closures.  Out my terrace this morning, the sun is bright, the ground is dry and the temperature as I type this is 49 degrees F.  We didn't have micro climates back in the day growing up in the southeast.  I've lived with them out here on the west coast now for nearly 20 years and I still can't get used to them.

Ok, back to work.  I want stay on top of every incoming so that if/when I can drop it all and play!
