The new PC is here and it's beautiful. And, thankfully, work stayed fairly quiet all day so I could futz.

I have yet to get the dual monitors hooked up. I can hook up one. I can hook up the other. I can hook up both and Vista tells me there are two. But I can't get the two screens to work - either as clone or independant. Still futzing.

AND a question for anyone using Outlook 2007. WHERE is the fucking SEND button???!!!! I had to fire up a browser to send my brother an email. I can write it and save it and see it in drafts but I can't send it. It's crazy!!

i am just using office 2003, but instead of clicking send, i just hold control and press enter ... it sends the message for me. see if that works?

Have you gone in to screen properties and told Windows you actually want to *use* both monitors? (And I realize you need to get the machine working again first...I read from latest to oldest.)

Now that you mention it... no. But I did finally get that working kind of before system failure. There's an Nvidia control that gives me the option of clone or independant. I got both to come up but independant would not give me any focus on the second screen. No cursor. I drag the window over to the edge it would not go to the other screen.

But, now, as you read. I got worse problems...
