The gym is in an office building on the 2nd floor. On weekdays, it's open, after 7 a.m. On weekends you have to go to the little call box and call up to the guy at the gym desk and he buzzes you in.
This morning, the guy wouldn't answer the phone. odd. Twice I tried. And about that time a pretty boy I had seen working out before came up and he had a key card (which I think you can get just for asking) but his card wouldn't work either. Then he said 'oh, I think maybe they don't open until 9.' Neither of us knew what time it was. My Zen said 3:55 p.m. so I was thinking it was probably 8:55. He went back to his car and I sat on the curb and waiting 5.
That did the trick. How did I get so over organized that I got there before 9? I'll remember next Sunday.
Did my 30 at 27 and all my exercises and even threw in 20 reps of one that Jerome tried to make me do a while back and I said 'no thanks'. It's a squat thing that I just couldn't get right. Finally the other day, I watched someone doing it and BINGO! I got it. Thigh's are us... or will be eventually.
Star!

Date: 2007-04-15 08:11 pm (UTC)I feel just a bit of 'hey, easy on us' from my legs on stairs today, but that's it, and it's not pain, just the feeling that maybe I ought not bound up the stairs if I want to avoid that pain thing. ;)
I so love the audio books. So, so nice. I listen to them when driving, and sometimes at work, depending on what my current task is. A lot of them I can listen during; others, not so much so. And of course when I exercise!
