I read this morning that they are finally releasing a DVD set (of 3) of WKRP in Cincinnati.  What a gem that was.  Or let me saw what I gem I remember that as being.  I'm definitely going to Netflix it and see how it works today.  What a bunch of characters.

The Seahawks have a 25 piece drum and symbols marching bend-let that use the parking lot outside my terrace for practice on Sundays.  It's a fun - get off your ass and do stuff - kind of noise.  I just dusted the living room and cleaned the kitchen.  Maybe I should contact them and suggest they practice more often.

The laundry is done and put away.  Betty is pretty disappointed but she's busy trying to convince the birds to drop on down and see here there on the terrace.  Jake is having his third morning nap.  The game starts in an hour.  All is good here in SusanDennisLand.

Oh WKRP. I hope you aren't disappointed. I always liked it. Les Nesmanns office was a model for a couple of spaces I have worked

Loni Anderson was really good in her role from what my feeble mind remembers.

Fabulous!! My Sweetie & I use their dialog tag lines all the time, and of course, knocking on Les' shoulda-been-there door... the weather helicopter blades, the theme song for Red Wigglers... And Bailey -- she's on my Sweetie's "Permitted Sex with 5 TV Characters List". He'll be so pleased. Race ya to Netflix!!

Okay, yeah, the "traffic" helicopter... sorry.
Netflix says the 3 disc series of season 1 will be out 04/27. We'll see.

I think I speed typed weather before because Sweetie wandered by and announce that it was snowing, all over his freshly laid down grass seed & fertilizer. It was lovely this morning, then thunderstorms in the early afternoon, followed by a strong wind and sideways snow. Sigh...

Actually, the snow is just blowing around in the fierce wind, not settling on anything, so maybe the seed will stand a chance.

I grew up in Miami, and we prayed for hurricanes on Sundays!

Hey now, don't be picking on Les...he's the winner of the Buckeye News Award :-)

And I seriously lusted after Bailey...the things I could have done to that girl...

The sequel series was okay, but not anywhere near as funny as the original.

I've been waiting for this on DVD forever. What tied it up is arguments over the music rights. The songs they played in the show were such an integral part of it, they couldn't remove them. But the Big 5 of music had to argue over every little thing.

This is also why the movie "Heavy Metal" took so damned long to come out on DVD.

Drum and symbols. What kind of symbols were they--peace symbols perhaps.
