30 at 27 plus everything - didn't skimp a bit.
My neighbors Ann and Ron were there. Up until last week, they owned a little dress shop over in Ballard (a nice little Seattle neighborhood). They closed the shop and retired. They moved in here about the same time I did - when the place was new and about 3/4ths not yet sold. Ann is great. Fun to talk to and always on top of who's doing what with whom. Ron is a the very definition of a Bore. Turns out they have been gym regulars - at 6 a.m. and now, in retirement, have joined the 7:30ish crowd.
Their shop was clothes and shoes and gifts and they had great stuff. Fortunately for me, most of it was too small because most of it was also too expensive. I did manage to score some things - some corduroy pants and tops that I save now for special occasions because I'm afraid the corduroy won't last much longer and one knit shirt that I love. I save it for special, too. Today, Ann was wearing that shirt to work out in! Cracked me up.
Another star is born.
