Some blog I was reading yesterday listed the books the guy was 'reading with my eyes' as well as the other book he was 'reading with my ears'.  I love that.

When I read with my eyes and the book is a good thriller and I get near the end, I really have a hard time putting it down.  Turns out reading with my ears presents the same problem.  After I got home from the gym, the story was still tugging at me so I hung the player back around my neck and turned it on and proceeded to clean up the entire kitchen while the the good guys closed in on the bad guys.  I've got 30 more minutes left.  I'm saving them for tonight.

I'm copying the next book onto the player now and ripping yet another that I got from the library on CD.  I like having backups to my backups.  And I'm really enjoying these audio books.

Today's is Vince Flynn's Treason (I love all of his and this one is as good as the rest.)
Next is Gillian Flynn's Sharp Objects (I've never ready any of hers and just noticed she's got the same last name as Vince. hmmm)
The one I'm ripping now is The Jury Master by Robert Dugoni.

Email just in on my work laptop from the boss.  He has a new website that has already been built but needs the content edited and can I do it tomorrow?  Sure!  But, why wait?  Be a nice little project while the baseball game is on.

So guess I'll get to it.

Where are you finding such a nice collection of audio books?

Ahhh...

I've been playing with Pandora Radio these days. Fun!

I'm kind of spooked!

I found your site by googling "7 per rule". When there are aid cars parked on 1st Ave I check out the Seattle 911 site and wondered what that meant.

I've spent the last hour or so reading your blog and website and, in so many ways, it's like I'm standing back and looking on at myself: the knitting, the cats, single, love to stay home, live on the same street, similar floor plan, thinking about joining the same gym. We differ vastly in that I shred everything that has even my name on it and can't imagine opening up my life to the world as you have done. But otherwise - it's like looking through a mirror. If I get off my ass and join the gym I'll say HI.

Do you still recommend Jerome? When I saw what was going on I skipped back to Day 1 and read forward, so I don't know what's going on now.

Oh, I'm not absolutely paranoid. I'm at 1st and Cherry in the 10-story bldg with the steep roof, gables and dormers. You might be able to see me if you look north.

I will look for you if I sign up. I've been thinking about it for awhile. I'm pretty sure I won't go after work, and the idea of strolling down 1st Ave at 6:00am doesn't exactly fill me with desire either.

I'll be reading your exploits!
