Today's soundtrack was Stayin' Alive!  The minute I'd get finished with one set of things, here came more.  Then a domain name failed. Then half of the videos on one site just quit working from the links.  The other half - using the exact same link model, in the exact same place, with the exact same code, did not fail.  Then more broken stuff.  Then some new stuff. 

I am now coping over the last of the failed videos to a new folder so I can publish from there.  Which worked when I tested one.  All videos same format, same size, on same server, in same folder.  All worked last week.  Six of them don't work this week but do work when I move them one level up in the folder structure.  Now, tell me someone isn't fucking with me?!

No baseball tonight.  I need to get caught up on my TiVo.  Fortunately a couple of the series that I've recorded but not watched yet, have already been canceled so I think I can just skip those. I hate to fall in love with a show I can't have.

I haven't heard from my brother in a couple of weeks. It seems that when things are going fine, he's pretty good about staying in touch. But, when he hits a personal or professional pothole, he goes into hiding.  My Mom used to say 'he's disappearing again.'  I hate to bug him.  The last note I sent was one that said that I thought he was smart and sharp and kind and I loved him.  He wrote right back that he appreciated the words.  Don't want to overplay that one because I want to make sure it always rings true when he hears it.  So I'll be patient.

Have I mentioned how much I love my new washing machine and dryer???  I've never been able to get my duvet cover really clean and now it is.  The only problem is that both the washer and dryer are so damn quiet, I keep having to go back there to make sure I remembered to turn them on!

What brand and model are they? Front loader, right? What is HE soap? I presume it is low suds.

My washer SUCKY Maytag is dying again. They can not make the belt quit slipping.

I am in the market for new ones.

HE=High Efficiency...you can only use it in HE washers.
