susandennisOk, well, it's now 2:48 p.m. and so far so good. I kind of cheated a little because I went to lunch with my friend, Sue (the company accountant) and dumped on her. But, she and I go out once a month so I can unload and she can find out who's been naughty and nice. Her office is upstairs so she never gets to hear the gossip and she so quiet and accoutant-like that people don't generally tell her stuff anyway. So she buys me lunch and gets the dirt.
And that kind of gave me an outlet. And the rest of the time I've just stayed out of the room where the Twinkies sit and kept away from most everyone else. It's worked so far.
I could change my mind but so far my take on it is that being not mean is not all that fun or rewarding. And it's hard work.

Very unusual to go the entire day without sarcasm or blowing up over stolen pens, swapped mice, jammed printers. You get the idea.
