Just the best day

keelamonster and Ella came over this morning and we went to the Mariners game and it was a great game and the day was just wonderful.  You might guess that a 2 year old is not generally my company of choice but I have to say that Ella has to be the best exception.  Even during the game.  She took one 30 minute nap and otherwise was delightfully happy to watch the game with me and her Mom from the 1st inning to the last!  My kind of girl!

And she and Betty had a great time.  Betty, broke every cat rule and played along perfectly.  Ella would wander down the hall calling "Beeettttttyyyyyyy and Betty would come right to her."  It was hilarious.  I meant to take a load of bears to the Baby Corner last week but didn't get around to it, fortunately, because the bears where a giant hit.

I am not used to taking pictures of moving objects so I got a lot of shots but none that are great.  But they are sweet and so I share.  It was really a fun day and a great game and it wasn't even too hot.  I am going to put my feet up.  I have to be up tomorrow at 5:15 am for a launch and then it's the new gym!

Our first day of winter ... about 80F., (but it has been getting down to between 42F. and 60F. at night, so sleeping's OK).

Awww look how much she loves those bears! And what struck me as I was watching her cuddle them six ways from Sunday is how much the kids who get the bears from Baby Corner must love them just as much. So great!

Thank you and you are right. She gave me the first chance I ever had to actually road test these suckers and wow. It occured to me after reading your comment that the woman who designed the pattern I use needed to know, too. I couldn't find how to contact her but I did find her publisher (from whom I bought the pattern) so I wrote to the publisher and asked them to send along my infinate thanks to her.
