Teddy Bear delivery

I took all the bears off to the Baby Corner this morning.  The nice lady there was glad to see them.   She said the last ones were a big hit with everyone and, in fact, the last one left for a new home yesterday. 

I know the bears are adorable (and I know at least one 2 year old who thinks so, too) but sometimes places who deal with those who need things don't have the energy or time or space to deal with adorable.  I never want to cause bear recipients any stress and am always sensitive to any clue that the bears might be more welcome elsewhere. I can't imagine what difficulties the Baby Corner people see every day.  I don't want having to tell the Bear Lady no thank you added to the mix.

So I was happy to discover that the latest batch were welcomed.  I told her I'd be back next month and she said that would be wonderful. 

I love making these bears and, honestly, would probably make them if I had no place to put them.  It's not a sacrifice or a chore at all.  That the end result of my personal amusement finds hugging homes is a great bonus.
