Our new routine

We have a new routine. 

The old routine was every morning:

1.  NPR comes on the radio
2.  Depending on work load, I may or may not snooze a short or a long while
3.  I get up and get the paper and coffee
4.  I read paper and then swing the little computer around from the nighstand
5.  While sitting cross legged on the bed, I finish my coffee and get caught up on LJ

The new part comes in oh about 3 or 4.  Betty joins me on the bed.  In between me and whatever I am doing.  She is particularly interested in my NOT reading LJ.  Did you guys say anything to her?

I keep meaning to say how sorry I was to hear about Jake. I was on vacation, so I'm terribly behind; nevertheless, although, it sounded as though he had a good long life, I enjoyed very much reading about his antics and/or attitudes.
