20 minutes on the treadmill at 3.0 and then... 10 minutes on the rowing machine! I'm here to tell you that the rowing machine kicks my ass. Well more my back and arms but whew. It's bound to be good for me. I think, however, I'm going to try it in 5 minute segments and build up. I'm whipped.
I did decide that I don't really need to do more than I'm doing now. What I'm doing is working. So 30 minutes plus a few seems like a good plan that I can stick to. I haven't heard from Jerome about my new plan so until I do, I'm not going to worry about it. I think I'm just going to mix it up a 30 minute combo of treadmill, rowing, bike with a back. Or as
kjaz would call it - a Triathlon!
Thomas's sticker for the day says: Hooray! If Thomas was here, I think he would say 'you stink!' Off to the shower.

I must confess, I'm curious. I know you only do this for stamina and you have no interest in changing your eating habits, but all this exercise must still be having some kind of effect on your body besides just stamina. Do you weigh yourself very often? Have you lost any since you started this exercise regiment? You've been doing it long enough (three months) that I would imagine some kind of difference could be noticed.

AAAAIGH! I'm really sorry I keep doing this, accidentally posting comments anonymously and then re-posting when logged in, so you know who the hell it was from.
My friends list, with all its many photos, always takes an age and a half to load, so I have taken to right-clicking on the comments link of an entry, copying the URL, and then pasting it into a new browser, so I don't have to later back-click onto my friends page and wait for it to load again. What I keep forgetting is that when I look at the entry with comments in a new browser, I'm no longer logged in. One of these days I'll start remembering it, I swear!

Date: 2007-06-17 01:39 am (UTC)Weird that that happens. I pretty much do the same thing BUT I always click on 'stay logged on' so I think my cookies keep me 'live'.
No worries. Unless you don't see my answers cause they don't go to your email...

Date: 2007-06-17 01:36 am (UTC)I have weighed myself twice. Once about a month after I started, I think. 225 lbs. And then again a couple of weeks ago. 230! I'll weigh again tomorrow and report it in my update.
I have not changed my eating patterns (which are decidedly NOT heathly and not lean in any way, shape or form). And that's probably why no loss. I have also not noticed any difference in body shape or the way clothes fit (BUT, I really only wear t-shirts and knit pants so I would have to lose or gain LOTS to notice a difference in their fit.)
