A couple of times today I thought about going out and doing this or that and then remembered NO not this weekend! So I stayed here safe and sound and crowdless. I watched a movie I had recorded called A Simple Twist of Fate. It was like a modern day Silas Marner with Steve Martin. I know now why I've never heard of it.

I did take down all of the closet curtains and adjusted their length and ironed them all. I am going to have to come up with some other rod situation at some point. The current cheap cafe curtain rods are beginning to bow. I'm thinking rebar...

I think I am going to have to go to a store before Christmas. I only have two presto logs left and no way can I stretch them until next Thursday. So I think maybe I'll make a run on Tuesday afternoon. Hopefully by that time everyone will have everything they need. Or maybe tomorrow.

Could this entry be any more exciting???

Monday, if you can. Of the days between now and Christmas, it's the one when people are most likely to be working. ;)

The grocery store tonight was no busier than usual, though. I'm sure the malls and such were scary, and I stayed WELL away from the electronics store (the post office was horridly busy, but I'd expected that and needed to send those things)...but the grocery store was fine. Everyone's too busy mall-crawling. :P

It won't be as easy for me to manage Monday but I think you are right and it will be worth the extra effort. Tomorrow I may give it a shot because if it's horrible I can just come home - no harm done. Oh crap... I just remembered the football game - traffic... Well, I could go just after the game starts... That's probably the best time of all. hmmmm
