Nice Saturday - miscellaneous

susandennisTonight's Mariner/Yankee game was outstanding - a no-hitter for the Yankees until the 7th inning and the Mariners won. You can't ask for much better.
I got a great book recommendation from a guy who reads the book reviews on my website. He's one I've not heard from before and, apparently, has a bookshop on Haight in San Francisco. The last three recommendations I've gotten from web book 'friends' have all be 1) things I would have never found on my own and 2) excellent. Great fun.
My Mom has taken to regularly checking my webcam on weekends when I'm home. This morning she sent an email telling me to comb my hair. She's kind of embarrassed about spying on me and I keep trying to tell her that I wouldn't have the camera up there if I wasn't ok with being looked at. She's coming around. Tonight she sent email that I shouldn't allow the cat on the table while I'm eating. Mom's are still Mom's even when you are 53.
I got bored with the current afghan I'm making and started a new one - very different and really interesting. I'll finish the other one later.
Bedtime. After one more game of Spider Solitaire.
