The string is broken
Jul. 9th, 2007 09:26 amI'm skipping the gym this morning and probably all of today. I have managed to capture some sort of intestinal inconvenience (isn't that a lovely phrase?) and it has me both exhausted and feeling like I should stay close to the bathroom. So I am. It had to happen sooner or later - the string breaking.
I have my work laptop here in bed with me and I may just stay here. This will mean that I have finally now gotten my commute both time and distance down to zero. I'm so lucky to have this luxury. I have a conference call at 12:30 and I can do that from here, too. I can even monitor the Front Door TV Network from my little bedroom TV.
So... I'm set. And I'm actually feeling a lot better just wiped out. Weird.

No worries

Date: 2007-07-09 11:39 pm (UTC)Were you feeling dizzy at all??
That's what I had a couple weeks ago. The room was spinning! It was very weird. Though I don't think I could have worked like you did. :)

Date: 2007-07-09 11:50 pm (UTC)Not dizzy, but a strange giant abdominal ache that alternately hurt like hell and then made me light headed and back and forth. It was very strange. But finally it abated and I could work. Not during, though. No way.
