And I do mean that temperaturely. I've had the shades down all morning. I have those kind with the teensy little holes so that you can actually see through them but they block the sun. They are a miracle. They give me enough light to see by but keep me cool. And the a/c helps. And not moving helps. But, seriously, it is only 79 degrees in here and as long as I refrain from moving furniture around and/or jumping jacks, I'm cool. And grateful for it.
I am giving serious thought to going out later. I need some teryaki chicken. And I'm going to have to go get some for dinner. I think I'll slip out before the All Star game and pick it up and hurry home before I get hot. My car lives under the first floor of this building which is heaven in the heat. It stays cool down there.
I am over whatever attacked me yesterday. Whew. And yay. This allows me to focus on the increasingly annoying eye problem I've had for about a week. the very corner of my left eye is irritated. And won't get better. Last night my eye was kind of swollen and overall itchy and it reminded exactly of when I had the eyelid peeling problem last winter. It finally did go away after some days of Claritin (or rather its generic equivalent). So I dug that out this morning. The hardest thing is keeping my hands away from it. It itches like crazy.
Work is plentiful and steady which is nice. In fact, I should get back to it. I'm boring but I'm steady...
