fj! reminded me this morning about Amazon's unbox where you can download movies to TiVo.  I knew about it.  I signed up for it when they first announced but I kept forgetting about it.

I don't watch that many movies anyway. In fact, I have the cheapest Netflix subscription there is - 2 movies a month.  When you finish those, there ain't no more til next month.  Mostly this is perfect.  They keep my list of stuff I want to see someday and dole them out accordingly. 

But, occasionally, there's a window of op for watching a movie and it is the wrong time of the month.  I don't have any movie channels so I'm just suffer.  Pitiful, isn't it? 

But, this morning I went to Amazon, to the unbox and like fj! said, found Happy Feet avail for rent at $.99!  Weekend special.  I have a month to watch it.  One click and it's on my TiVo!! 

How can it get better?  Turns out when I signed up, I got a $15.00 signing bonus so Happy Feet is FREE!!! (And I have $14.01 left!) Some days the stars just line up, ya know?
