I don't know why it is, but cats see you staring in one direction for a while and they have to fill up your vision with their encredible selves.
When my son was about two weeks old, I was holding him and talking to him and my cat decided it would be a good idea to sit on the baby. They're jealous of your attention. Isn't it cute?
