Is it only Tuesday?
Jul. 24th, 2007 12:39 pmMy co-worker, Tyler, is on vacation. He'll be back on Thursday. I'm covering for him while he's out. And after 1.5 days of covering for him, I can only say that I hope he is enjoying the last vacation he will ever get to take. Last night I thought it would be ok if he just never left town again. Now, I'm thinking I need to lock him in his house.
He and I do the same things only for different project managers on different projects. His suck. The projects and their managers. I mean really. They just suck.
On the other hand, I now am far more profoundly grateful for my own projects and managers.
Thankgod he'll be back on Thursday. I'm trying now to last that long.

wrongaddress@hotmail.com is now what I'm using when my requests to be removed from mailing lists are ignored. I just ask them to change my email address to wrongaddress@hotmail.com. Minnesota Public Radio and Stardock are my two latest offenders.

The Mariners have lost their last three games. It's not good. They play two today, in Texas. I can tell you right now that the broadcasters will spend 20% of their air time describing the game and 80% of their airtime bitching about the heat in Texas.
--
And speaking of weather bitching... we dried up!! Last night, it was so humid in this living room that I could swear I saw mold growing on my coffee table. I mean seriously. I think I could have wring out my sofa pillows and filled up Betty's water bowl. It was horrible.
And today, it's gone. It is warmer than yesterday but feels way cooler. Whew and yeah.

Now I need to get back to work. Later...
