What a nice evening!!

susandennisLee (of neighbors Sherry and Lee) called me on her way home from work tonight and said she had just stopped at the grocery store and picked up kobi short ribs and corn on the cob and so did I want to come down for dinner? Heck, yeah!!! (Sherry's at her folks' in Yakima until tomorrow or Wednesday.)
Before dinner, Lee came up here to see the new table. We both decided that it was squishing the quilt so we added in another layer of bumpers and now the quilt is all plumped out nicely in between the layers. Taps had some lovely little clear cubes with rounded edges that would be perfect so next time I'm near there, I'm going to pick me up some. But, for now, we're good. And I love the thing. Lee was amazed and impressed.
Anyway, dinner was excellent and the company was fun and and I stayed down there to catch the first three innings of the ballgame (HDTV - the California Angels are too red for HDTV). Came home and finished off some work and won the ballgame and now you are totally caught up.

I note that you're two team names behind, but I don't blame you. I refuse to call them "Los Angeles", myself.

Date: 2007-07-31 04:47 pm (UTC)I think I'm just too easily distracted for HDTV. We also watched the local news and a couple of those anchors are so not HDTV compatable. There is such a thing as too much visual information!
