I set out this morning to fix 7 web pages. It took me 5 and one half hours! Holy crap. But it's done and they look great. Problem is that was just the first item on my very lengthy work todo list.
But, I work better during a baseball game and the game doesn't start until 7 and it's only 3 now so I'm going to take four hours off. Yes, I am and you can't stop me.

The DSL Reports forum has spewed forth an amazing amount of incredibly helpful information about my impending connection change. I think I have all of the information I need. It might well happen before 5 p.m. on Wednesday (like even early Wednesday morning) and it could actually come off without a hitch. I have a huge amount of respect and gratitude to people who take the time to respond to forum questions and who do so with clear and comprehensive information dealt up kindly. I always try to remember to go back and post my after story so that others behind me will benefit but really, I should help out more. I've been helped so much over the years. I should pay back.

Clearwire continues to unimpress even more so. Still no response to my email. Still not response to my trouble ticket. But, I did get an automated call today saying they were proud to have me as a customer. Yeah, well, I don't think so. Monday morning, I'm calling cancellation and see what they have to say.

The Fucking Blue Angels did not make so much noise today. Thank you, Fucking Blue Angels. One more day to go and then a year off. Whew.

There was a great recipe in the paper this week that I'm going to try for dinner tonight - except I plan on making some **changes**:
Cook It: Impossibly Easy Roasted Peppers and Feta Cheese Pie **Or Impossibly Easy Blue Cheese and Artichoke Pie**
Serves: 6 **I'll probably cut the recipe in half**
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 40 minutes
12 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled **I'm going to use prosciutto (cut up but not cooked) instead**
4 green onions, sliced ( 1/4 cup) ** don't have any so leaving out **
1/3 cup chopped roasted red bell peppers, from 7-ounce jar, drained ** I'm going to use artichoke hearts instead **
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese ** I'm using crumbled blue cheese instead **
3/4 cup Original Bisquick mix
1 cup milk ** probably using cream instead **
1 teaspoon dried basil
3 eggs
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 9-inch pie plate or spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine bacon, onions and bell peppers and sprinkle them in the bottom of the pie plate. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Stir remaining ingredients in medium bowl until blended. Pour into pie plate.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
