Nice, nice day...

susandennisI did a little work here and then off I went to Fred Meyers. Freddie's is like one of those big Target stores that has food. It's really west coast only - or at least it used to be. I'm not particularly fond of them which is ok because there isn't one close by. BUT, they are the only place I can find - online or off - that carries bed sheets in good colors but not in sets.
I don't want a set. I want a full size fitted sheet and a twin flat sheet only mostly I don't even use a flat sheet. But, I sure as hell don't want a set. Fred Meyers still has one line of separates. And they come in neon pink, turquoise, grape and lime. I got one of each. I'm hording because they will probably join the ranks of you-must-by-your-sheets-in-sets team soon.
I also got some clear plastic boxes for when I clean out the terrace cupboards. And some mayonnaise. And I forgot apples. But, I have enough to probably last me through the weekend.
On the way to Freddie's you cross one of the many bridges we have around town. This one is one that goes up for boats. I was one car back when they stopped the traffic for a big boat. How much did I love that I didn't care??! I just turned off the car and sat there and enjoyed the view.
When I got home there was JJ Putz (Mariner's reliever) on the door with a note from Ann who said that the best sign she saw at the ballgame the other night said:
"Rove Resigned - Fries for All !!!"
Cracked me up.
I picked up some Nature's Tears EyeMist. It's a spray for dry eyes. My eyes are always dry but I hate drops with a passion. This stuff was kind of pricey but wow. It sure feels great. Cool and wet and wow. I'm happy.
Work is mercifully slow today. And I'm really loving that.
Oh and another thing that Freddie's has that no one else carries is this great brand of frozen cream puffs and frozen mini chocolate eclairs. They are better than most and I got a box of each. My reward for my hard work.
