10 mins on the treadmill and 1 rep of all my machines... 10 mins on the rowing machine and 1 rep of all my machines

I was there about an hour earlier than usual and, turns out, there's a spinning class from 6-7.  It is exhausting to watch and the seats make my butt hurt.  I can't imagine actually being in the class.  You could hear the music in Idaho and the instructor's screaming in South Dakota.  Geesh. 

Star, shower and Dr.'s appointment for me.

Spinning is an interesting critter. My experience is that you need to get through about 8 classes before you can get through one not completely wiped out. They tell beginners to just take their own pace and focus on form and not speed and heart rate just yet.

I highly recommend spinning, as it's gotten me into the best cardio shape and flexibility I've been in years.

Oh, and about the seats. They're designed for men. :^/

Those spinning classes look like pure hell to me. I could never take one. Give me weights anytime.
