A fire a minute!

susandennisToday is the annual fire alarm inspection here at SD HQ. The building manager and the fire alarm people go into every unit and then turn on the building fire alarms to see if they can be heard in that unit. Turn them off, go to the next, lather, rinse, repeat.
So... I get my ears pierced about every 2 minutes this morning with a 3 second blast. Fun times in River City.
What's going to be really fun is the conference call I have in 20 minutes.

No grocery/library run today, I don't think. There's a home Mariner game at 1:30. I could actually go about 2 which would be after the crowd gets to the game and before the rush hour starts BUT, I should watch the game. The Mariners may well be on their downhill slide but they could still pull it out if they want to, I think.
I can make the run tomorrow. There's nothing that is on the critical must have this minute list.
Today's a good day to get lunch from the deli across the street. I haven't been there in ages and they probably think I have abandoned them.

Crap, the terrace is in full sun... and that's my best option for this conference call. Oh well. At least the piercing isn't as piercing.
