I have just received the FIFTH 'so why did you leave us' survey from Clearwire.  I got one just (like within the hour) when I closed my account.  Since then, I've gotten about one a week.  Exactly the same survey every single time.  The email requesting I fill it out includes instructions on how to opt out of further emails. 

I've filled out each and every survey and I've followed the opt out instructions every time.  I wonder if this is a life long relationship?

The first time I filled out the survey I tried to be informative and fair.  The second time I shot for fair.  The third time I just marked everything the worst.  The fourth time, I marked only a few hot button items and suggested in the 'anything else you'd like us to know' that they quit sending me the fucking survey.  This last time - and... it will be the last time - I suggested that same box their harassment was making me a bit cranky and that this would be the last time I shared my feelings with them.  I had a spam filter and I knew how to use it.

Holy crap on a stick.

If it happens again, don't fill it out, use the envelope to wrap a brick and post it. This assumes it's one of those 'no postage necessary if mailed in the United States' envelopes.

Or you could look up the President of the company and relate this account to him/her. Not that there would be any dramatic change but you could savor the thought of the problems it might make for the f*ckwits who keep sending you surveys.

Report it as spam?
Go to corporate and go 'postal' on their asses?
Anything but giving them a call to complain. They'd keep you on the phone while they sobbed.
