We had a thunderstorm last night and I missed it.  poop.

I am very very very weary of hot flashes.  They are getting worse and more frequent and they suck.  I going to buy a walk in freezer.

I got an email from the place I ordered the $10 headphones.  Out of stock.  They canceled my order.  Back to Google, reswizzled my search terms and found a close out special at $6.45 each.  I ordered 6.  Nothing obsessive about me.

Say good night, Gracie.

That storm lasted a lot longer than normal for around here.
It started about 11:30; or at least when I first noticed it :)

Flashes.

I'm not usually one for homeopathics, but I want to tell you about my Mum. . .

When my Da was diagnosed with Colon Cancer, everything changed. My Mum immediately decided to go off her her Hormones that were keeping the Menopause in Check. Her MD thought this was alright as long as she wasn't "suffering" The only thing that really gave her reason to find another Therapy was the Hot Flashes of Hell.

Easy Fix.

She started Eating and Drinking Soy Products.
If you regularly snack on Soy Nuts (they come in flavors) or drink Soy Milk (it comes in flavors) or eat other Soy Products, the Hot Flashes are controlled.

Just a thought.

I don't like soy milk drunk straight. However, I like it just fine poured over my cereal - as long as the cereal has enough flavor, the milk or soy milk will wind up tasting like it anyway.

DO try soy cautiously if you haven't eaten any before as some folks have allergies to it. Most people do not and your worst reaction should be to taste if you pick a product you don't care for. :)

I don't know anything about soy working on hot flashes, I just wound up trying soy milk because of my need to avoid dairy. But as a substitute to drink I found it pretty yucky. Other people like it so perhaps you'll be one of them!

Unfortunately, the only thing that helps hot flashes IS a walk-in freezer or a fan. Believe me, I went thru them and still suffer from them too. I would be very leary of the soy products. Some people react badly to it. Do your research before you take anything.
