The Rookie
Dec. 29th, 2002 03:54 pmI'm stealing here...
kjaz has a nifty movie rating of $8. I'm just stealing it. Just watched The Rookie and I'm giving it a good $7. Maybe even $7.50. Now, you need to like baseball and you need to think Dennis Quaid is cute (not Hugh Grant Gotta Have Him cute but cute).
I remember the story about Jim Morris from four years ago but I didn't know a lot of the details and he did play for a competitor and I wasn't paying attention. So I really enjoyed the movie. And I am soooo ready for baseball season!!

Jim Morris actually pitched for Tampa Bay in 1999 and 2000; so it wasn't long ago. He pitched 15 innings, gave up 13 hits, 7 BB, 8 earned Runs, and of his 45 outs 13 were strikeouts. Not bad for a relief pitcher who debuted at the age of 35.
