Susan vs. Graphics... Susan Wins!!!

I've been using this slow time at work to sharpen up my graphics skills. I'm not looking to go into design work but I hate that I can't do simple things. I been going through tutorials and books and I've really learned a lot.

One good example is the new User Pic!!! Thanks so very much to edbook who created the original and gave me the ideal It tickled me so that I had to figure out how to do it myself and did. I'm quite proud of it.

And then I finally figured out how to put text on a curve and emboss it and drop shadow it... Whew. Check out the new top graphic for my website...



And I'm very much more comfortable with all the little tools in my graphics software. Whew. Bring on 2003!

No fan mail... I'm waiting for him to make the first move. I think this new icon will convince him, don't you?

But, thanks. Edbook's version was a great idea was the trigger but it took me days to get it exactly right. I am pleased with how it turned out... just hope Hugh is!

I didn't know that hoot was southern!! I've probably been confusing these folks here forever. OH well... But, thanks, I'm kinda proud...
