Week 29 - strength day

susandennisToday was exercise day. I love the beginning of exercise day.
The gym is all bright and happening with the music going and the TV's flashing and the wheels on the cycles and steps on the stairs and people moving fast and slow. I walk through that and go into the studio. I don't turn on the lights. There's a giant picture window onto all the action and mirrors all around. The sound disappears and it's like a filter is put on the rest. You know where you are and what you are to do and you have company and inspiration but it is calm and cool and quiet. It does not last long but it's special and worth the trip.
After Rosie ran me ragged making me go through everything twice, today was like a cakewalk. The logistics are much easier now and it's all about the form. Toes straight. Slowly back. Back straight. I can hear Rosie when she's not even there.
Good day at the gym. But, Lucky slept in this morning. She and Tija were coming in as I was leaving so no picture today.
