Jack-fucking Pot!!!

My phone meeting happened but it was mercifully short.  So I called my 18 buck place and they were closed.  What to do.  Get in the car and go find a place.  So I did.

I drove out Jackson Street.  I passed a place that looked promising but I was in the wrong lane.  I never saw anything better so after a bit I turned around and went back to Promising.  It had a bright neon sign outside and parking and inside was bright and cheery.  I walked in and there were two Asian women working both of whom were perky and fun looking and there were several customers but one of the women said they could cut my hair in just a few minutes.

They had a beautiful huge fish tank with some of the prettiest big and orange gold gold fish I have ever seen.  And those fish were perky, too and fun to watch.  

I could not understand everything the woman cutting my hair was saying but I got enough to assure her that shorter was better and she got the picture fast and did a WONDERFUL magnificent specatacular job!!!!!  

$14 and I got a card - after 10, I get one free!!  She folded up my paper that had my pictures on it and handed it back to me saying "you save and bring next time, ok?"  Then she eyed my new 'do' and said cheerily "see you next month. ok?!!"

Absolutely OK!

I tipped her heartily but even so, on the way home, I started feeling guilty about having paid so little and gotten so much!  pictures to follow...

I have to say that I admire your courage when it comes to getting your hair cut. I'm so paranoid about mine that I've been going to the same hairdresser for nearly 30 years. I told her she's not allowed to retire.

I was remembering when you had fairly long hair not too long ago. Going short does have advantages, though. I'm glad you found a place you're happy with. :)
