Ok, none of my days really suck.   But some of them have more stress than others.  Today was full of stress and I am sooooo glad to be on be on the ass end of it.  I have lots of work for the weekend but, hopefully, I can use that time to get all caught up.

--

Travis and Betty are so funny over dinner.  I use little saucers and give each of them 1/6th of a small can of food.  Yep, it's about a forkful each and they pick.  Each goes to a dish and start in.  Then one will back away and move to the other's dish.  About that time the other one will also switch dishes.  Let's all make sure the other one didn't get something better!!

Travis is so adorable 98% of the time but he still has small bouts of killer kitty.  He attacks whatever is sticking out - my foot, my knee, my leg, my hand and he won't stop.  Last night he came perilously close to getting shut up in the bathroom.  My body is his scratching post. I found a small misting bottle.  He will now learn the power of the water.

But, when he's adorable?  He's so adorable it hurts.  Like when he's trying to wake up and can't.  He falls over in the funniest positions.   I spend a lot of time with my legs folded Indian style and the laptop tray on my knees.  He loves that well made by my heels and crotch.  He crawls in there under the laptop and turns himself into a ball.  It's soooo cute.

I am going to enjoy this evening knitting and watching junk tv.

Good luck with the water.
All of my cats just gave me the stink eye and kept on doing whatever they wanted to.

marcus bolts if i get the can out (although i don't really need to do that much anymore). i don't even need the can with bob--i can make the sound myself and he stops whatever he's doing and bolts out of the room.

I was Zoe's scratching post for a long time, too. Kittens don't realize that those little claws are like razors. She still does it when I'm sitting down and she puts her front feet up on my thigh. Claws extended. Yow!

But I'm with you on the adorable part. See? It's that kitten magic they do on you so you forget you were ever mad at them for something.

I trim our kittens' claws. That doesn't completely stop scratches from kitten needles, but it helps.
