This got on my list after watching Tim Robbins on Actors Studio. It's an interesting mockumentory. I do think they manage to mock everything except Sugar Cocoa Pops. And I also think there is a cameo appearence in there by everyone except Kevin Bacon. Heck, he might have been in there, too and I just missed him. Strange little DVD but interesting. I'd probably give it $5 out of $8, but I like political junk more than most, I think.

Best of all, the whole thing was filmed in Pittsburgh! The part in the church with the choir? That's the Chatham College chapel. I sang in that choir a few years after that movie was filmed! And when they're at that stable at the beginning? That's Hartwood Acres, a park where I spent a good bit of my childhood. And the ballroom at the end is the Westin William Penn in Downtown Pgh. Hee hee! For me, spotting the familiar locations was as much fun as spotting the celebrity cameos! :-)

Oh I totally agree. I love when stuff is filmed in Seattle. John Doe pretty much sucks as a TV series but they do 'great' Seattle so I watch every episode.

And, since I spent a lot of time in Pittsburgh when I was in college, I'm usually pretty tuned in, but not this time. I went to Bethany College - a little school about an hour west of Pittsburgh. We used to go in to 'the city' every chance we could - we would ride of in the Duquesne Incline for hours because it was free. And then there was the 'new' stadium... Wild.
