It's a Tracfone Miracle!
Nov. 19th, 2007 09:48 amLast Summer, I ordered a flip phone from Tracfone. After I paid for it and got it, only then did I learn that they could not port my number to it. So I sent it back for a refund. Which. Never. Came. Emails about it returned a reply that said call.
Talking to them on the phone was too incredibly painful. They would put me on hold, come back and ask if I was there, tell me they needed to put me on hold then come back and ask if I was still there and put me on hold ... you get the picture. I did this twice - once in August and once in September. Both times they told me the refund would be in my credit card by the next week if not, call back. Right.
I decided that it was an $87.03 lesson. Expensive but good lessons sometimes are. And I gave up.
Today there appeared in my Discover Card account, a credit from them for $87.03. Too Fucking Weird. And a delightful surprise.
