I've never in my life spent as much time in front of the mirror as I have since I started working out with Rosie.   I'm not attractive physically so the experience of watching myself isn't all that much fun. I try not to focus on the big picture. Instead I focus on whatever it is I'm trying to do.  Squat with my thighs instead of my knees, lift with my elbows aligned properly, etc.

I noticed a few weeks ago that my legs - particularly the lower parts - are different sizes.  My left leg looks way bigger than my right.

Yesterday when I was lifting weights above my head, I noticed my arms look to be different, too.  Only this time my right arm is way bigger than my left.

So this morning I got out the measuring tape.  Sure enough.  My left ankle is 1 inch bigger than my right.  And my right arm - measured just above the elbow, is 1 inch bigger than my left.

I wonder if it has always been this way...

About a month after the amputations, we received a letter from the IRS correcting their original audit results. It turned out you didn't owe them an arm and a leg, after all. Luckily, we had kept the limbs in the freezer, and had the technology to re-attach them, but not before they had both atrophied a little.

Rosie insists that a few extra reps a day on each should build them back up to normal, possibly in your lifetime. We regret the inconvenience.
