Mom's Birthday Party

The little celebration I've been working on is coming together nicely. She turns 80 on February 1. Everyone I invited has now said they will come. She is delighted. They will go by limo to a very fancy and nice place that is too far away for 80 year olds to go for dinner by themselves. I'm pretty sure that everything is now totally set and all that's left to do is pay the bill. Oh and my sister who is usally to thorn in the side of anything that needs cooperation is even cooperating. She already sent me a check for her third. My brother is good for his third.

Nothing left to worry about on that front!

Sounds like fun. I miss my mom. I would have loved doing something like this for her. My sister and brother, might or might not have chipped in.

I'm quite lucky to have my Mom up and at 'em and on email so that I can help her out even 3,000 miles away. She's kind of excited about this dinner and I'm delighted to be able to do it for her.
