Little House on the Parking Lot
Feb. 3rd, 2008 03:47 pmThis is out in my parking lot today. I have no clues. I've seen several people up on the front porch and peering in the windows but, apparently, no one is home.

Brunch was wonderful. A scramble of eggs, sausage, onion, tomato, kalamat olives and feta cheese. Really excellent.

I finally got invited to test out games for Game House. I've always loved their games. I first inquired about testing in about 2002. Periodically, I send them emails asking about user testing opportunities. Today I got the nod. It's on site testing. I thought when Real bought them they moved down to the other end of downtown (where Real HQ is) but, apparently their offices are still across the street here by me. The info says the testing will be 'downtown Seattle' so it could be either place or another one all together. I'm cool with that.

Its been five years since my original entry about the word festuche. It's still a winner. If you google the word, you get a few references to it but most point back to that one entry of mine. Just this morning, I got yet another comment - this time from Houston. I love it.

Date: 2008-02-04 07:01 am (UTC)I can think of other words that would be useful additions. A good non-gender-specific word for a housemate in a long-term relationship that isn't formalized would be really useful to a lot of people. There are a lot of words that approximate that meaning, but none with just the right set of consistently-understood connotations.
