Feb. 5th, 2008 01:14 pmThe little house in the parking lot briefly got a next door neighbor when another little house moved next door but now they are both gone. I suspect they were taken into the exhibition center. The parking lot today has the regular cars from nearby workers, a shit load of giant boats from the boat show that closed on Saturday and some RV's from the upcoming RV show. I love it when the tree lets me catch the action!

Today was lunch trailor Tuesday! I had the kobe beef burger. It was good but not as good as the pulled pork of last week. But the fries were every bit as wonderful. They also had a kobe hot dog on the menu. I was tempted because I've never heard of a kobe hot dog. Maybe next Tuesday. This week there was little wind but it was pouring down rain. Did not diminish the crowds. If we ever get a Tuesday with nice weather, I'm wondering if I'll be able to even get near the trailer!

As I predicted, the price of the stock I bought last week has now dipped even lower. I'm not buying any more. Burn me once...

I should have run to Costco while I was out but I didn't. The way I'm burning miles on that car, I'll hit 10,000 this month for sure, if not next. Oh well. I just polished off some bugs and while there are no more in the queue, I think I'll make a break for it.

Tell me what pulled pork is? I have visions of two people tearing a chop apart or something.
And kobe? Russian?

Date: 2008-02-06 12:08 am (UTC)Pulled pork... The meat (pretty much any large cut of anything pig) is roasted until it is tendery good and then the meat is just pulled off the bone. It comes off in skinny strips. And piled high on a bun. (Often times barbecue sauce is added to the pig while roasting and then it becomes barbecued pulled pork.)
Here's the best picture I could find of a pulled pork sandwich:
Kobe beef comes from Japan and is supposed to be the best in the world. Honestly, I've never been overwhelmed by its wonderfulness. It's fine it's just not perfection in my book.
