Mar. 3rd, 2008 12:10 pmWork has been a little of this and a little of that all morning. Nothing big or emergency - just a nice, steady stream. I've been thinking about other work lately. If I didn't do this, what would I do. What's my ideal job - and sometimes an even bigger picture - what's my ideal world. What do I want to happen when I wake up in the morning? It's been an interesting process and it's still going on. I will, of course, recap here when I get to the recappable stage in the process.

Today is the perfect lunch trailer day. Chilly and wet and cloudy. But, it is not Tuesday. Tomorrow, I'm sure will be bright and sunny and the line will be even longer than last week. Drat!

Fox Sports is carrying today's Spring Training game on TV! I remember when I first moved here and adopted the Mariners, most of their regular season games were not even on TV. During the past couple of years, they've had four or five of the Spring Training games - as well as all of the regular season games are on TV. nice.

Of the Metropolitan Market goodies I got yesterday, the salami and cheese and olives are all delicious. The chocolate chip scones? Not so much.

And that's the report so far today. Move along.

Date: 2008-03-04 04:47 pm (UTC)Genoa salami? I like to stick a few slices on some crusty Italian bread and then I'll add Sicilian cracked green olives that have been marinating in oil and hot pepper to the sandwich. Mmmm Are you a lover of hot and spicey foods?

Date: 2008-03-04 05:41 pm (UTC)I'm not so big on hot and spicey foods. A little now and then is ok, but I lean more towards the rich and savory end of the spectrum... cheese and fats...
