Furniture Delivery

A guy just called from the furniture store and said "we currently have you down for delivery on Thursday but we were wondering if you could take delivery tomorrow, Wednesday, instead."

Well, hello, since I was told Wednesday, I could IF you can't make it today instead!

2:30-5:30 tomorrow. I asked if that was a.m. or p.m. He thought that was funny. He said p.m.

And the wait continues... Wonder if the deliverers want my old chaise? Hmmmmmm

At least you're decent enough to have an elevator. I'll never forget all the walkups we've had to do. The worst one was an 8th floor delivery...no elevator.
And we were smokers at that time.
