My new office

susandennisMy new chair/ottoman makes me feel like I have a whole new office. And what a lovely office it is, too.
I have never seen this before but on the bottom of each of the bolsters is a generous swatch of the upholstery fabric. One of the pieces is about 15x3 inches! They are held onto the bottom with easily removable staples. Soooo much handier than taking your sofa to the store to match the fabric and quite nice if you ever need a small patch. It's a great idea, I just never have seen it before.
I do need to go find some sliders for the ottoman. The ones I have on hand are 1. too big and 2. don't stick. But they clearly help and then I need to craft a little pull handle. I can easily (with sliders) push the ottoman out with my feet but getting it back, once I'm seated is not easy. The pull handle I have in mind won't show and will be easy to craft.
Then I need to put my two floor lamps in the living room on the x10 so I can on and off them without having to reach behind furniture.
Then I need to rearrange a little or a lot - the living room bits. But, I think I'll wait for Sherry and Lee for that.
It's all very very good. And Betty thinks so, too. She's sitting right here watching every word I type.
